Our Lady of the Blue Ridge Catholic Church, that is. I had noticed the cherry tree over the weekend that is already blooming, and had the idea of a photo with the church in the background. It didn’t work out too bad, although I had trouble with my shadow showing up in the photo since the sun was behind me. So the secret was to crouch down a bit so my shadow was only in the grass, which made it easier to retouch out 🙂
The view from the other side wasn’t too bad either. Needed HDR to hold some detail in the tree and color in the blooms.
And finally, a digital infrared….which I really like. Only the church, tree, and sign show up since most everything else is in the shade of the trees along Rt. 29, and there is very little IR light in shaded areas.
