Note: With all sessions below, delivery of images is via an online (optionally password protected) gallery. Once I’ve sent you the link to your gallery, you may pick 3 images (with small watermark in a lower corner) from your gallery to share on social media as a “preview” if you like. Let me know the image numbers, I’ll do a light retouch, and send you low resolution digitals of those photos. For any prints that you purchase, you receive a free matching low resolution digital image (no watermark) for social media.
HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
Option #1: Session Fee: $45. This session includes the ‘formal’ photo for the yearbook and a few casual photos outside at my house. No print credit is included. This session lasts no more than 30-40 minutes. (Contact Me if you’d like to see some sample photos taken at my house.)
Option #2: Session Fee: $125. This session includes the ‘formal’ photo for the yearbook and casual photos outside my home. There are some old barns located less than a mile from my home. We’ll also go there for some photos. This session will last about an hour, maybe a little more. One 11×14 print is included with this option. (Contact Me if you’d like to see some sample photos taken at the barns.)
Option #3: Session Fee: $225 and includes a $100 credit that may be used towards anything in the price list below. The session fee includes an indoor ‘formal’ session for yearbook photos as well as an outdoor ‘casual’ session at a location of your choice (there may be a travel fee outside of Madison County.). This session typically lasts around one to 1.5 hours.
Option #4: NEW Fee: $450 (plus tax) Price includes session fee and includes 30 high resolution digital files (on USB) and matching 5×7 prints. You get to choose your 30 images from an online gallery of approximately 50 total images from the session. You also receive one free 11×14 print from the session. This session will last approximately an hour to an hour and a half. You can change clothes as often as you like, and we can do couple of locations as long as they’re fairly close together. Fee is due at the beginning of the session.
Family sessions are $125 and are usually done on location somewhere in the county (a small travel fee may be charged for locations outside of Madison County). Sessions last about 1 to 1.5 hours. There’s no real limit on the number of people in the session as long as we stick pretty closely to the time limit.
Headshot sessions are shorter sessions, usually 30-45 minutes, and are the best option when you need headshots for business cards, websites, pageant headshots, social media profile photos, etc. You may change clothes during your session for different looks as many times as you like provided we stick pretty closely to the time limit. Cost is $175 and includes 5 digital files suitable for web, business cards, or social media. You may purchase additional digital images from your session for $45 each. The five session images, as well as any additional images that you purchase, will be lightly retouched, which includes removal of facial blemishes, fly-away hairs, etc. Extensive retouching will require additional charges. Within a few days of the session you’ll receive a link to a password protected gallery from which to choose your images. The gallery will remain online for one year should you like to purchase additional images at a later time. You may also purchase prints from the gallery.
Since I often shoot 6 days a week, especially in the fall, I like to have Sundays off. However, if Sunday is your only option, I will shoot one or two Sundays a month. Session fee on Sundays is $395, which includes a credit of $200 towards prints or products. (If we have weather issues on your reserved Sunday, we can try for the following Sunday and there will be no charge for the postponement.)
For all sessions, I usually present around 50 photos (usually more for the longer sessions) in the gallery in both black and white and color. All photos in the gallery will be color corrected and I will retouch a few to show you what’s possible. All photos that you buy include basic retouching (removal of facial blemishes and the like).
Because we often end up with many many good photos from a session, I also offer albums. After all, you can only hang so many prints on your wall! These albums are hand made, archival, and should last for generations. The book lays flat when opened, so the pages are designed as “spreads”, so each spread usually contains several images–similar to a collage.
