….okay, you can call it a “drone” if you like. \u00a0 I’ve just had it a few days so I’m still learning to fly. \u00a0The photos are from a GoPro HD Hero<\/a> camera, which is one of GoPro’s earliest cameras. \u00a0I’ve had that for quite a while, but had no way to get it up in the air :-). \u00a0Below are a few video clips pieced together….mostly to show you what NOT to do! \u00a0DON’T try to learn to fly in the woods!! \u00a0An open field is MUCH better!

\nAnd a few photos from today. \u00a0Not a very photogenic day, but I was anxious to get out and fly around. \u00a0(The GoPro has a VERY wide angle lens. \u00a0These have been corrected in Lightroom to remove the curvature that is the result of that lens. \u00a0That’s why you see a bit of blurring in the lower corners. \u00a0Maybe I shouldn’t have done that, but I like my horizons flat.)<\/p>\n

And finally, here’s a video from YouTube, NOT MINE, that was shot by a pro wedding photographer. \u00a0He uses the aerial footage in the introduction of his wedding videos to showcase the wedding venues. \u00a0Pretty cool!!! \u00a0It’ll be a while before I have the guts to fly over water!! \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
