Okay, going back to this for a while…maybe longer…
I realized that I’ve missed the “recap” of what I did the past week. Quite a few sports events were snowed out last week, so a few more landscapes than normal, at least for this time of year.
Another week of pictures….
I shot this first one a few days ago, but just got around to processing it. It’s in the field out behind the silo on the Clore property…Hoover Ridge.
No sports action last week, just team pictures for MCHS Spring sports. All the spring sports start like crazy this week. Not only will I be shooting MCHS this week, but also will be shooting some Orange County High School sports on Monday and Tuesday for their yearbook. I’ll also be shooting the Leprechaun Launch 5K Obstacle Race and Kid’s Obstacle Course this coming Saturday morning. It’s a fundraiser for the Madison Primary School Playground drive (to build a new playground at MPS). I anticipate that being fun 🙂
There are still quite a few sports photos mixed in there…but that will change over the next couple of weeks since we’re on a break between winter sports and spring sports. But, I see some trees already starting to bloom, so I don’t think there will be a scarcity of subject to shoot over the next couple of weeks 🙂

Mostly sports last week, but did have time to work in a few landscapes….
Several years ago, at the beginning of that particular year, I decided I was going to do a “photo a day” project where I made sure I took at least one photo each day. Some photographers do it to try to push themselves into shooting more regularly, and hopefully then increase their creativity. I did it for a week or two, but quickly realized it wasn’t doing anything positive for creativity, if anything it just made shooting more chore than fun. I never advertised the fact that I was doing it, because, I guess, I knew it was going to fail.
So, I had this idea that maybe I’d just make a weekly post here with some of the pictures that I like that I shot during the past week. Of course there are sports photos, but I also shoot landscapes during the week, either with my phone or a real camera. So, here goes. We’ll see how long this lasts 😉
